National Sales Manager Mark Cardwell has over 30 years of experience across both the retail and food industry. He’s a passionate and driven salesman who has made a big impact at Birtwistles, particularly in the way he’s helped to build our presence in the education and healthcare sectors.

Mark revels in our fast-paced, efficient working atmosphere. He loves the way we operate here, our employees don’t need to jump through hoops or go through lots of barriers to get a decision at Birtwistles. The senior management team make decisions almost instantly, which allows Mark and the rest of the team to make real-time decisions and respond to our customers’ needs immediately.

Obviously being in sales, I can play a big part in making that happen.”

Mark is a big believer in day-to-day contact with existing customers, whether that’s himself or through the communications team. He endeavours to maintain good relationships, offer support and make sure that the customer is always delighted with the service that we provide.
