This week Andy Woods, one of our National Sales Managers & Master Butcher received an award from Wiltshire Police in recognition of his exceptional public duty when he very bravely used his personal & communication skills to get a safe resolution of an incident and undoubtedly saved a life. We are extremely proud of our colleague but not surprised that he selflessly assisted in what was surely a very difficult situation.
Andy was presented with this award at the latest Wiltshire Police Force Awards ceremony on 3rd July 2024 where the Chief Constable, along with the High Sheriff and Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire, recognised the bravery & dedication of police officers and police staff who had gone the extra mile in keeping Wiltshire Safe. The Chief Constable was also delighted to be joined by a number of members of the public who had demonstrated exceptional public duty in putting the needs of others above themselves. Chief Constable Catherine Roper said: “This was a wonderful evening celebrating the incredible achievements of Wiltshire Police officers, staff and volunteers along with members of our community.”
